Experimental probability comes from repeating an experiment many times and counting the results. In NSW Year 7 maths (NESA outcome MA4‑PRO‑C‑01) it is also called relative frequency and is compared with the theoretical probability you expect from a fair coin or die.
You will divide the frequency by the number of trials, round where needed, and read tables from coin, die and two-dice experiments. You will predict an expected number, such as about 150 faulty globes in 5000 if 6 in 200 failed, and see why more trials usually bring results closer to theory. This subtopic is part of Year 7 Probability.
