MS-N3 Critical Path Analysis: In this topic, we will use critical path analysis in the optimisation of real-life problems. This will be a useful tool in project planning, management and logistics

You will be building networks to represent duration and interdependencies of activities that must be completed during a particular project. You will be given data or charts that you will use to determine the critical path of a particular activity. In the real world, critical path is used extensively to ensure that projects are delivered on time. The application of critical path to ensure that the project is on time, and generally on budget. As an example, when you build a house, pouring the slab is on the critical path so you can put up the walls and putting up the walls is on the critical path so you can put on the roof.
