A4.1 - Simultaneous linear equations - You will be looking at graphing and solving different relationships and the use of simultaneous linear equations is a great tool in solving practical real world problems. 

You will solve simultaneous equations by graphing, doing algebraically and building simultaneous models. By determining the intersection of 2 or more points, we can then calculate real world problems such as break even analysis - how long does it take to for a business to start making money. With small businesses driving the Australian economy, many of you will be involved in a small business or create one for yourself down the track. You will then see the relevance of this topic if you decide to do the calculations or turning a profit in your business.
