You will learn to calculate the Future Value \((FV)\), Present Value \((PV)\), using an interest rate of \(r\). This will allow you to compare different investment strategies and performing appropriate calculations when needed.
You will learn the application of depreciation of real world problems. When you drive a brand new car out of the car lot, is it still worth the same in 1 day, 1 year, 10 years? You will also learn about repayments of loans to determine the total loan amount and monthly repayments. You will use this knowledge to solve practical problems relating to credit cards.
