MS-S5 - The Normal Distribution - You will find that a lot of your grades over the years have been put on a normal distribution curve as this measure is used to analyse and compare datasets. You will understand how a normal distributions are created and then use normal distribution curves to make judgements and justify your decisions.
You will identify that a normal distribution is a bell shaped curve and that the mean and medium are approximately equal. From here, you will learn about a \(z\)-score and determine how the \(z\)-score is used. The \(z\) score will allow you to compare how you are performing across all your subjects.
